Because of the huge emphasis that many in the golf community place on hitting deep drives, a large segment of golfers are forgetting to focus on putting, the most crucial area in relation to actual scoring in the sport.

George Gankas golf lessons, known collectively as the GG Swing Method focuses on identifying strong attributes in a golfer’s playing style, while working to remedy any shortcomings that may hinder their overall success on the course.

Practitioners of George Gankas golf lessons have found amazing results in their game, as the presentation of the GG Swing Method can be applied immediately to their game without much skill level being achieved beforehand.

In this video, Gankas examines several proven putting tips that most golfers have a tendency to forget, either early in their training or as they become more seasoned players with time

George provides clear insight into actionable putting strategies that achieve immediate results once mastered, allowing golfers to achieve their desired results in the most crucial area of the sport.

An uphill putt, whether in slow or fast greens, can prove to be a very challenging read, even for more experienced golfers.

Many golfers fail to remember that in an uphill putt shot, the ball must be hit with great force, causing the shot to begin faster but also slow down quicker than putting the same distance on flat greens or a downhill putt shot.

Several golf instructors have taken to math to solve the problem that putting uphill poses, with several findings suggesting that uphill putts require much more force than a regular flat green shot needs.

For example, a 20 foot uphill putt shot may require the same force and speed that a 26 foot putt on flat greens needs because of gravity weighing the uphill putt shot down.

Results may vary depending on the playing style of the particular golfer, but anyone putting uphill will surely have the added element of gravity to toil with while setting up their putt for success

As we need to add extra distance to our uphill putt shots, golfers must also remember to hit downhill putts with a slight reduction in force so to not overshoot their shot.

While uphill putting requires that the golfer work against gravity and add additional force to their putt, downhill putting has the obvious reverse effect on putts, causing the player to utilize less energy to travel the same distances downhill.

For example, if a player were setting up a 20 foot downhill putt shot, the shot would only require the amount of speed and force that a 15 foot putt needs on flat greens.

The added energy that gravity provides while traveling downhill works with our putt as long as we do not overpower the swing with too much energy upon impact.
